We are finally amidst the editing of our projects and they are all turning out well so far. I recently finished editing the project that I did cinematography for and now my short "King of Battle" is being edited. In a few short days I will start sound design and then the coloring process. It all moves too fast but it's been a great experience.

Hey, I just came across your blog, and I must say find it great! Every blog that I read about FSU just shows what a terribly wonderful place it is. If it wouldn't be bothering you, could you tell me how tough it is to get in and is it essential to have previous experience in making films? Would I HAVE to submit a short film, or would scripts do? Are international students accepted into the program? I'm sorry if the questions are too obvious, but I'm not a US citizen, and I simply can't visit campuses to get to know more about the colleges. My email address is schak291@gmail.com, just in case you want to use that instead. Thanks in advance!
Sorry for getting back to you so late. I'm not very good at this whole blogging ordeal and it all comes in waves for me.
1) no previous film experience required. They don't let anyone submit any sort of previous work because they judge applicants on what they WANT to do with film and not what they have already done. It's all part of an "equal playing field" rule that the film school uses.
2) They adore international students! But again, equal playing field so nothing is based on where you come from. You would have the same chance as someone who lives in Tallahassee.
Hope it helped!
